Expect widespread critical fire weather conditions through the rest of the week and into next week with continued hot, dry and windy weather. Winds gusting 35-55 mph will be possible again today with the stronger winds along and north of the I-70 corridor. Any fires will catch easily and spread rapidly.
KICX Radar Down June 8th through June 20th

The KICX (Cedar City) radar will be down for scheduled maintenance between June 8th and June 20th. During this time, technicians will be replacing panels in the radome that have been damaged by lightning. Surrounding radars will continue to provide data during what is normally the driest time of the year.
