Several rounds of moderate to heavy rain showers and thunderstorms move in this afternoon and continue through Tuesday morning. By Tuesday morning, look for widespread storm total rainfall amounts of around 1 to 1.5” with localized pockets of 2 to 3”. The risk for minor flooding is low (<20%) at a given location owing to breaks between the rain and the progressive movement of the storm complex. Nevertheless, be on the lookout for ponding of water on roads and poor drainage locations.
