From late Monday night through Wednesday morning.

Dangerous swimming conditions are expected due to high waves and onshore winds.

Additional Details

Waves gradually taper off from north to south Wednesday morning.

What to Do

Stay out of the water and away from dangerous areas like piers and breakwalls. Strong structural and longshore currents are expected. Rip currents are possible.

  • Stay off of rocks and jetties due to dangerous conditions

Severe Storm Potential Tonight

Storms are expected to drop southward across southern Wisconsin tonight, but the timing is uncertain. All modes of severe weather will be possible as the line moves through, but damaging straight line winds in excess of 70 mph will be the main threat. The threat shifts from severe to heavy rainfall as additional showers and storms affect southern Wisconsin toward Monday morning.
