Areas along the immediate Lake Michigan shoreline will see relief from the heat with a lake breeze in the afternoon hours.
What to Do
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Severe Storm Potential this Evening and Tonight

A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is expected to drop south across southern Wisconsin late this evening and into the early overnight hours. All modes of severe weather will be possible as the line moves through, but damaging straight line winds in excess of 70 mph will be the main threat. The threat shifts from severe to heavy rainfall as additional showers and storms affect southern Wisconsin from late tonight into Monday morning.
