Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

- Areas of western Wisconsin, southeast Minnesota, and northeast Iowa have seen rainfall totals in the 1-4 inch range over the last 24 hours and 3 to 7.5 inch range over the past week. Another 1 to 3 inches will be possible today - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

At 1153 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported gusty showers along a line extending from near Millston to 9 miles northeast of La Farge to near Spring Green. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include... La Crosse, Platteville, Sparta, Tomah, Richland Center, Mauston, Viroqua, Lancaster, Black River Falls, Friendship, Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem, Boscobel, New Lisbon, Fennimore, Westby, Cuba City, Adams, and Bangor.
This includes the following highways... Interstate 94 between mile markers 116 and 147. Interstate 90/94 between mile markers 46 and 86. Interstate 90 in Wisconsin between mile markers 3 and 45.

Severe Storms Possible Today

Severe storms will be possible today, mainly across northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin. An area of rain and storms is expected to move into the region this morning with some damaging wind threat but the main threat for severe weather looks to come this afternoon, though this morning's activity might have some influence on where and how intense this afternoon's activity ultimately will be. The main hazards expected are damaging winds and a few tornadoes.
