* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... South central Stafford County in northern Virginia... Eastern Orange County in central Virginia... The southeastern City of Fredericksburg in central Virginia... Spotsylvania County in central Virginia...
* Until 945 PM EDT.
* At 843 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles west of Spotsylvania, or 14 miles east of Orange, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
* Locations impacted include... Fredericksburg, Massaponax, Spotsylvania, Mine Run, Rhoadesville, Brokenburg, Parker, Verdiersville, Locust Grove, Snell, Alsop, Gold Dale, Gatewood, Chancellorsville, Logan, Partlow, Lahore, Thornburg, Post Oak, and Cookstown.

At 844 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Jarrettsville to Pasadena to Crofton to 6 miles northwest of Prince Frederick to near Colonial Beach, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Emergency Management has reported many instances of trees down with this line of storms.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.
