Dangerous Heat Sunday

The heat and humidity continue Sunday across eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. An Extreme Heat Warning and Heat Advisory have been issued for eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Heat index values as high as 115 are expected in the warning area and 110 in the advisory area. Practice good heat safety to avoid heat illness.

The magenta area is an extreme heat warning and the orange shaded area depicts where a heat advisory is in effect Sunday from noon to 8 pm.
