Areas of fog will reduce visibility to one quarter mile or less in parts of northwest and north central North Dakota this morning. Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions and use extra caution traveling. Use low beam headlights and be extra cautious at intersections and railroad crossings.

The fog is expected to dissipate by around 10 AM CDT.

Areas of dense fog will impact parts of northwest, north central, and southwest North Dakota this morning.

A map of North Dakota shows where areas of dense fog are expected until later this morning. This includes Bowman, Hettinger, Crosby, Kenmare, and areas just north of Minot. Visibility ¼ mile or less in dense fog could make driving conditions hazardous. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
