Heat Advisory for Portions of The Area on Thursday

A Heat Advisory has been issued for portions of the area for Thursday. Warming temperatures with humidity remaining in place will result in Heat Index values in the upper 80s to mid 90s for most of the area. The highest Heat Index values are expected for areas north of I90 and the lower elevations of the western & northern Finger Lakes where a Heat Advisory is in place. The Heat Advisory is in effect from 12-8 PM on Thursday.
