FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND GUSTY WINDS FOR THE EASTERN NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND WESTERN SANDHILLS

The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a Red Flag Warning for low relative humidity and gusty winds, which is in effect from noon to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.

A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for low relative humidity and gusty winds is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

Fire Weather Zone 204 Eastern Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR.

Timing

For the warning Tuesday, Noon through 9 PM MDT. For the watch Wednesday noon through 9 PM MDT.

Winds

Tuesday-West 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Wednesday-Northwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
