Impacts
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

- Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop tonight and again Saturday evening. A band of 2-4 inches of rainfall is possible tonight. Area that receive heavy rainfall tonight could see additional flash flooding concerns with storms Saturday evening. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Storms will develop in southeast Kansas late Friday and move northeastward overnight. They will congeal into a line, then move back southeastward. A few storms may be severe, and therefore prompting an upgrade to a level 1 of 5 marginal risk.
