Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Multiple rounds of showers/storms are expected through the week. Heaviest rain totals should be across NE Kansas and NW Missouri, where heavy rain has already fallen this morning, with an additional 1-3 inches possible. As such, a flood watch has been issued for NE Kansas and NW Missouri from 1 pm Tuesday through 1 pm Wednesday.
