A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT. This advisory covers nearly the entire forecast area, with the exception of the Virginia and Maryland Eastern Shore. With heat indices expected to reach or exceed 105°F, the risk for heat-related illnesses will be significantly elevated throughout the day. To ensure safety during these extreme conditions, residents are urged to take proper precautions. Drink plenty of water to stay well-hydrated, minimize your time in direct sun exposure, and remain in air-conditioned spaces whenever possible.
