The weather pattern will favor hot and humid conditions for the upcoming week with the potential for hazardous heat. Rain chances will be near zero. Toward next weekend, a possible pattern shift will bring the potential for a chance of showers and slightly cooler temperatures.

Key Messages:
A strong high pressure system will set up over the region this week, bringing very hot conditions with little to no chances for rainfall through midweek.
The hottest days will be Tuesday through Friday. Heat Risk on these days will range from Major (Level 3/4) to Extreme (Level 4/4).
Rain chances increase again heading into the weekend, as temperatures gradually fall to normal midsummer values.
High temperatures in the mid to upper 90s
Heat index values as high as 106-112
Rain chances near zero early this week
Scattered showers may return by the weekend
