A heat advisory is in effect today for all of Central Alabama. Maximum afternoon heat indices will go up to 105 to 109 degrees. Remember to stay hydrated & limit strenuous time outdoors in the afternoon. If you have AC, use it. Fans may not be adequate. Wear light-weight, light-colored clothing.
