Severe thunderstorms are possible on Thursday night. Storms are expected to develop over the eastern Great Plains Thursday afternoon and move east Thursday night. Storms are expected to begin weakening during the mid to late evening as they approach central and northeast Missouri. However, there's still a chance that some will produce damaging winds and possibly a few weak tornadoes in parts of central and northeast Missouri overnight.
