Low humidity and gusty northeast winds may produce a High Fire Danger on Tuesday across interior portions of east central Florida

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 11 AM to 8 PM EDT Tuesday.

Inland Volusia... Lake... Orange... Seminole... Osceola... Okeechobee.

Wind

Northeast to east-northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with frequent higher gusts.

Humidity

28 to 35 percent.

Impacts

any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

What to do

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
