DISCUSSION
Key Message 1)
Northwest flow aloft with high pressure of Canadian origin building southeast thru the Ohio Valley today. Dry and Cool conditions will persist. The clear skies and light winds was leading to fog development especially in river valleys this morning. The fog will improve quickly after sunrise with seasonably cool highs in the mid to upper 60s.
Temperatures warm above normal Wednesday as southerly flow develops ahead of the approach of a weak front. Highs on Wednesday are expect to range from 75 to 80. The weak front will drop into the area Wednesday night/early Thursday - but limited moisture will lead to just some clouds with no rain expected. Another area of high pressure builds in from the northwest during the second half of the week.
Mid level ridging building into the area will allow for continued dry conditions late this week into Saturday with temperatures again warming to 75 to 80 Saturday.
Rain chances increase on Sunday into Monday when moisture from the Gulf States advects north into the Ohio Valley ahead of a midlevel trough.
