Lower elevations of central and north-central Wyoming, east of the Continental Divide.

Impacts
Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat events.
Additional Details
Some locations will not see temperatures fall below 90 degrees until sunset.
What to Do
Drink plenty of hydrating fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.
Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to late evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

- Reschedule outdoor activities for cooler times of the day, and take breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
- Cover windows with curtains or shades, or use window reflectors designed to reflect heat back outside.
- Check on friends, family, and neighbors, especially those who do not have air conditioning or spend much of their time alone.
