Thunderstorms forming over MN/NW WI later this afternoon are expected to move towards the southeast and could persist into the overnight hours. The primary hazard is damaging winds (70+ mph gusts), but large hail (2 inches), heavy rain, lightning, and isolated tornadoes are all possible. Initial thunderstorms are expected to remain as isolated cells, but may congeal into a line of storms during the evening. Be sure to have multiple ways to receive warnings, including ways that will wake you up!
