Windy today with highs in the mid 60s to mid 70s across the western South Dakota Plains and northeastern Wyoming and in the mid 50s to mid 60s in the Black Hills. Winds will be out of the northwest gusting to 40 to 50 mph over the western South Dakota plains. Showers and afternoon storms are possible, though no severe weather is expected. Warm on Friday with elevated to near critical fire weather conditions. Highs over the western South Dakota plains and northeastern Wyoming will be in the mid 70s to around 90 while highs in the Black Hills will be in the mid 60s to mid 70s. Storm chances return Saturday with highs in the 60s to mid 70s over the western South Dakota plains and northeastern Wyoming and in the 50s to around 60 over the Black Hills.
