Patchy fog will continue to impact portions of eastern South Dakota late tonight through early Tuesday morning. The density of the fog will vary over short distances, but visibility as low as a quarter of a mile will be possible for the next couple of hours. If traveling this morning, reduce your speed and use low- beam headlights when encountering foggy areas. Winds are expected to increase early Tuesday morning, which will dissipate the fog before sunrise Tuesday.

A Wind Advisory remains in effect this afternoon and evening until 4 AM CDT Tuesday morning for portions of north central SD. Strong northwest winds will kick in the remainder of today into tonight with gusts ranging between 35 and 55 mph.
