Briefing
From the Forecaster
Severe Weather Outlook for Today
Created by the NWS Wilmington WFO
A complex of thunderstorms is expected to dive south from the northwestern Great Lakes region late this afternoon into this evening. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts, which may blown down tree limbs or cause isolated power outages. Additionally, large hail and heavy rain are threats. Confidence in storm track is still low, though recent guidance suggests that the complex will primarily impact areas west of the I-75 corridor.
