From the Forecaster
Daily Decision Support Briefing
Created by the NWS Gray WFO
Hot and humid conditions persist into Friday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Highs in the 80s to low to mid 90s combined with the high humidity and warm overnight temperatures will pose a heat risk through Friday. A cold front crosses late Friday into Saturday morning, bringing higher chances for showers and storms Friday evening with a few strong to severe storms possible. Behind the front, some relief to the humidity is likely over the weekend. Another cold front crosses late Sunday bringing a cooler airmass into next week.
