Showers will gradually end from west to east today, with high pressure bringing the return to dry weather under partly cloudy skies tonight and Wednesday. Perhaps a few showers again Wednesday night, with dry weather returning Thursday and Friday. Gusty southwest winds today will result in hazardous swimming conditions on most of our Great Lakes beaches. Light winds return later tonight and Wednesday. Temperatures this week will remain well within the range of what is considered normal for this time of year.
