Frost Tonight in Northern Areas

Good Afternoon! A frost advisory is currently in effect tonight for southern and northeastern Aroostook County as well as northern Penobscot County so make sure to bring in any tender plants! Looking ahead, mostly dry conditions are expected this week aside from a chance for showers overnight Thursday night. Some patchy coastal fog is also possible Tuesday-Thursday nights. Weather forecast for northern and eastern Maine, issued September 14, 2026, titled "Frost Tonight in Northern Areas" and "Dry conditions expected through Thursday." A Frost Advisory is in effect for parts of northern Maine as low temperatures are expected to reach the mid to upper 30s tonight. The week will be mostly dry with mild temperatures, highs ranging from mid-60s to low-70s, with a chance of showers Thursday night.
