Strong to severe thunderstorms could move through eastern Kentucky tonight, bringing a risk for strong to damaging winds and isolated flash flooding.

Tonight's Severe Thunderstorm Risk, valid through 8 AM EDT Tuesday, July 28th. 

Key Messages: 
A cluster of strong to severe thunderstorms could move from NW to SE through the region tonight. 
There is a Slight (Level 2/5) Risk for severe weather for most of eastern Kentucky.   
The primary threat from thunderstorms will be damaging wind gusts and torrential rainfall.
The severe risk remains dependent on how ongoing convection evolves to the NW of the area.
