Chariton River near Chariton affecting Monroe, Appanoose, Wayne and Lucas Counties.

The East Fork 102 River at Bedford, or from 8 1/2 miles upstream of Bedford to the 102 River in Missouri.
When
Until further notice.
Impacts
At 24.0 feet, Water affects E Main St near the water plant as well as some residences near the floodplain on the southeast side of town.

- At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.5 feet. - Forecast...Rises on the river are possible over the next few days. The river may reach flood stage. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

After the round of storms this morning, additional storms develop behind the first line in portions of central Iowa and then after a short break, in eastern and southeast Iowa this afternoon. All severe hazards are possible including damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes as well as heavy rain leading to potential flash flooding. Stay weather aware today!
