Slight Risk for Excessive Rainfall Tonight

Chances for strong to severe storms will be present late this evening into the early overnight. Storms most likely to form along and south of Highway 20 after 9 pm, with the highest risk near the I-80 corridor. Should storms develop they bring a risk of large hail to the size of a half dollar, 60 mph wind gusts, and heavy rainfall. With stronger storms, additional accumulation of 1”+ may be possible. The WPC Day 1 Slight Risk (level 2 of 4) of Excessive Rainfall is in good shape.
