- Heavy rainfall is expected to continue through this morning before a lull in activity is forecast for this afternoon. However, heavy rainfall is forecast to move back into the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday.

Multiple Days of Heavy Rain Continue

Moderate to heavy rainfall this morning will slowly progress southward today into tonight, before lifting back northward by Wednesday. This active pattern generally continues through the remainder of the week. Locally heavy rainfall may lead to ponding water or flash flooding and successive rounds of rainfall may eventually lead to river flooding.
