The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Franklin County in southeastern Indiana... Union County in east central Indiana... Preble County in west central Ohio... Butler County in southwestern Ohio... Montgomery County in west central Ohio...

* Until 1245 AM EDT.

* At 1150 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Greenville to 8 miles northwest of Lake Santee, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

* Locations impacted include... Dayton, Hamilton, Middletown, Huber Heights, Trotwood, Oxford, Miamisburg, Vandalia, Englewood, Trenton, Eaton, Batesville, Moraine, West Carrollton, Ross, Liberty, Camden, Lewisburg, West Alexandria, and Gratis.

This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 3 and 40. I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 49 and 65.

At 1205 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Versailles to near Connersville, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include... Richmond, Connersville, Batesville, Centerville, Liberty, New Paris, New Madison, Oldenburg, Lake Santee, Waterloo, Blooming Grove, Columbia, Metamora, Bunker Hill, Abington, Brownsville, Laurel, Eldorado, Spring Grove, and Boston.

This includes the following Interstates... I-70 in Indiana between mile markers 151 and 156. I-70 in Ohio between mile markers 0 and 4. I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 145 and 149.

What to Do

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
