Another round of thunderstorms is expected in the area this afternoon through tonight. Like yesterday, some storms will likely be severe and may also result in flash flooding.

Headline: Severe Thunderstorm Threat Today.  Sub Headline: Some storms will likely be severe and may result in flash flooding. What To Expect: Scattered to Numerous Thunderstorms.  Level 2/5 severe weather threat and level 2/4 flooding threat. Primary Storm Time Window: 3 PM - 5 AM. Severe Storms Capable Of Producing: Damaging winds and hail. A threat for tornadoes also cannot be ruled out this afternoon and evening. Torrential Rainfall.  May cause flash flooding of roads, low-lying areas, fields, and basements, and cause rapid stream/creek rises. All Storms Can Produce: Lightning Strikes.  Soaking Downpours.  Gusty Winds. What To Do.
