SATURDAY: Critical Fire Weather

Created by the NWS Spokane WFO

Looking ahead to the weekend - Saturday is shaping up to be the next widespread critical fire weather day across the Inland Northwest. Dry and gusty west to southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 25 to 45 mph and relative humidity values 15 to 20 percent will result in any new and ongoing fires to spread rapidly. New fires will be difficult to contain.
