Record Breaking Heat!

Created by the NWS Denver/Boulder WFO

Very hot temperatures can be expected with highs soaring into the 100-106 degree range over the plains and I-25 Urban Corridor today. This heat will break records in many locations, and add to significant heat stress if outside during the heat of the day. Scattered showers and storms, mainly in and near the mountains, will offer up just a little late day relief. Remember to find shade and stay hydrated!

Graphic shows forecast highs today, with 100-106 degree readings over the plains and I-25 Urban Corridor, mid 80s to mid 90s in the foothills and high mountain valleys, and 70s higher mountains.
