Today's Weather and Outlook
Created by the NWS Denver/Boulder WFO
Another warm day can be expected, but a few light showers or weak thunderstorms will be around (this morning, and then again late this afternoon to overnight). They will be capable of producing just brief rain but gusty outflow winds of 30-45 mph. Outside of the showers, it will be breezy in/near the Front Range Foothills through most of the day. Scattered showers and storms can be anticipated most days in the week ahead, with the highest coverage holding off until Thursday. It will also turn cooler with highs only in the lower to mid 70s on the plains, and mostly 60s in the mountains. Warmer weather returns Wednesday, but then temperatures average near normal for the rest of the week into next weekend.
