Mild And Wet Pattern Returns

A wet pattern will finally return to the Mid-South Saturday afternoon as rain showers develop and continue through the remainder of the weekend. Additional rain showers are expected next Tuesday and Wednesday as a stronger upper-level trough moves through the Mississippi Valley. Rainfall with the weekend system will remain light (Less than 0.5 inches west of the Mississippi River, and approaching 1 inch near the Tennessee River) Mild, above normal temperatures will fall to near normal towards late next week.
