Coastal flooding, with water levels of 1.5 to 3 feet above the normal highest tide line, and 25 to 35 mph south to southeast winds with gusts up to 35 to 50 mph.
Where
Kuskokwim Delta Coast, including Kipnuk, Kwigillingok and Kongiganak.
When
Until 7 AM AKDT Saturday; highest water levels expected during each upcoming high tide until Saturday morning.
Impacts
Coastal flooding of low lying areas and erosion are possible.
Additional Details
Highest water levels for Kwigillingok are likely to be around 2 feet above the normal highest tide line. Highest water levels for Kipnuk are likely to be around 2.5 feet above the normal highest tide line.

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides will combine to generate minor flooding of low areas along the shore.

High Wind Warning

Heads up Anchorage and Eagle River! The previously issued Wind Advisory has been updated to a High Wind Warning. Winds will begin increasing early this afternoon and peak between 6 PM this evening and 6 AM early tomorrow morning. Expect southeast winds gusting as high as 60 to 75 mph across the Anchorage and Eagle River Hillsides, particularly for areas above 1,000 ft. Though the most impactful winds will occur at higher elevations, expect some gusty winds to mix down to the lower elevations of South and West Anchorage. #akwx
