Flooding caused by standing water in roads along Rio Guanajibo and its tributaries.

Cabo Rojo, Hormigueros and Mayaguez.

Impacts
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become impassable.
Additional Details
- At 648 AM AST, Flooding persisting along PR-114 and PR-103 due to standing water from previous rainfall and nearby streams reaching minor flood stage. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
What to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
