Impacts

At 12.0 feet, Riverview Drive is closed due to floodwaters on the road. The Tensfeldt Park boat launch is closed. Intersection of S Main St and E Dane St is closed, and S Center Ave. Floodwaters affect highway K between Jefferson and Fort Atkinson. River's Edge Park flooded.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 10.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Friday was 10.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 12.7 feet early Thursday afternoon. What to do

To escape rising water, take the shortest path to higher ground.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim, or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters, stop, turn around and go another way.

At 17.0 feet, Floodwaters are in the back yards of some homes on Rogers Street on the northeast side of Fort Atkinson and water surrounds a few homes and businesses at the end of Vets Lane near the intersection of Hwy 106 and Blackhawk Island Rd. These roads are flooded in the Fort Atkinson area: Sinissippi Drive, Vets Ln, Fox Hill Rd, Bark River Road from Kutz Road to Rock River Road, Rock River Rd from Milwaukee Ave E to Hwy 106, North Shore Rd, Ralph Rd. The river walkway in Fort Atkinson becomes flooded.

At 6.5 feet, Floodwaters affect some streets in Watertown. Water is in Riverside Park. About 6 miles upstream near Ixonia, Wayside park along Highway 16 and Kanow Park is flooded. Rock River Road near Highway 16 is flooded.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 5.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to 6.5 feet Thursday morning. Rock River Near Lake Koshkonong affecting Rock and Jefferson Counties.

Major flooding is forecast.

Where

Rock River near Lake Koshkonong.

From Saturday morning until further notice.

Impacts

At 11.3 feet, There is knee-deep water over Blackhawk Island Road. Lamp Road on west side of river also becomes flooded. Lake Koshkonong merges with Mud Lake to the east of Lake Koshkonong.

- At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning and continue rising to 12.1 feet Thursday morning. After storms end tonight, gusty northwest winds will develop and bring in considerably cooler air. Isolated showers will develop Sunday within the cooler airmass, with a few snow showers possible in the early morning hours. No accumulations are expected. Skies will clear overnight and remain clear through Monday.
