Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sanpete Valley, Sevier Valley, Western Millard and Juab Counties, Western Uinta Basin, and Southwest Utah.

For the first Freeze Warning, from 10 PM this evening to 10 AM MDT Thursday. For the second Freeze Warning, from 10 PM Thursday to 9 AM MDT Friday.

Impacts

Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

What to do

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Drain in-ground sprinkler systems and cover above ground pipes.

Colder air will return to the Beehive State behind a cold front today (Wednesday 4/22). As skies clear overnight, temperatures will drop below freezing for portions of western and southwestern Utah, including areas that have had an early bloom. The coldest temperatures (at or below 28F) for early-blooming areas will be the Sanpete and Sevier valleys. Another freeze is expected Thursday night as well.
