For the Freeze Warning, widespread sub-freezing temperatures in the mid to upper 20s, with temperatures falling as low as the mid teens to lower 20s in the Sanpete and Sevier Valleys, western Uinta Basin, Castle Country, and west-cenral and southwest Utah. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures in the mid 20s to around 30 possible.

Castle Country, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, San Rafael Swell, Sanpete Valley, Sevier Valley, Western Millard and Juab Counties, Eastern Box Elder County, Western Uinta Basin, and Southwest Utah.

Temperatures near or below 28F are expected across all Utah valleys above 3,000’ Thursday night into Friday morning, and again Friday night into Saturday morning. Temperatures this cold could cause widespread blossom loss, damage gardens, and may freeze external pipes such as sprinkler lines that have been activated early due to the recent warm weather.
