5-Day Outlook
Created by the NWS Juneau WFO
Light rain showers continue to push into the northern panhandle into midweek, with the southern panhandle staying relatively dry and clear. A low marine layer may try to push inland from the gulf, which would bring a low cloud deck to outer coastal communities and into the Icy Strait Corridor. A front will move into the northern coastline Thursday, keeping rain in the forecast for the Yakutat area through the rest of the week, and lasting into the weekend. The rest of the panhandle will be dry with mostly sunny skies this weekend. High temperatures are expected to reach into the low to mid 50s for the northern panhandle, the mid to high 50s for the central panhandle, and the high 50s to low 60s for the southern panhandle.
